ALBA: NOT EVERYONE WILL BE TAKEN INTO THE FUTURE

My daughter was born in Barcelona, and in those hazy days of little sleep and infinite wonder, I decided to make a film about a young ballet dancer from the Corella Academy.
To make the film, I visited the school several times and met the young dancers. I gave some of them questionnaires to learn more about them.
Alba wrote these beautiful, deep answers. She has this depth of thought and questioning that made her the perfect collaborator.
I wanted to make something expressive and intimate that felt like it existed exactly in that moment when someone is lost in a doubt about their future.
At a special moment in my life, Alba let me in to hers and we made this together, roaming around Barcelona, talking and dancing.
