I've spent years figuring out how to make the films I want to make - and how to make a living whilst doing it. Along the way, I've discovered that one of the things I'm best at is helping other filmmakers find the story in theirs.

I've helped filmmakers get into festivals, get rough cuts past tricky notes, and finish films they'd been stuck on for years.

I work one-on-one with directors at different stages of their projects — from early development through to rough cut and beyond. If your film isn't quite what you know it could be, or if you need perceptive, honest feedback — I'd love to help.

How I can help:

• Script & treatment review —
  a close read of your script or treatment, with detailed written notes: what's working, what isn't, and where the film wants to go

• Script review and call —
  the same close read, plus a long conversation to talk it through together: structure, character, approach, whatever the project needs

• Rough cut diagnostic —
  you send me the cut, I watch it forensically, we talk it through, and I follow up with detailed notes — for when you're stuck, or want a sharp outside eye before the next step

• Development partnership —
  sustained involvement across multiple drafts and conversations, shaping the film from early idea to production-ready

• Monthly mentorship —
  ongoing support through development, production or post: we meet regularly, I read your materials, watch your cuts, and think alongside you

• Editing collaboration —
  deep, hands-on involvement in the edit — structuring, shaping and problem-solving alongside you over weeks or months
